
Turn up the volume or put some headphones on to get full benefit. The cake was much easier to mix than the sound!

Ginger Cream Cheese Frosting
200 grams low fat, soft cream cheese
500 grams icing sugar
about 1 Tablespoon grated ginger
Beat all together with fork and a couple cap-fulls of brandy or your favorite flavoring!

I swear my kitchen doesn’t always look like this! That photo was taken in the middle of an extensive Christmas cooking frenzy. I do wash my dishes 🙂 Trust me, I really do. Would you believe me if I posted a picture of it when it’s clean and tidy? No where near as interesting or shocking! I think this messy picture serves to point out that even with a tiny kitchen, and mis-matched cookwear, you can create great food. If you want to cook, you will cook – I’ve only ever had one kitchen that was so bad I stopped cooking, that was my first flat in Brighton. Oh that kitchen was bad. The only thing it had going for it was a beautiful ornamental cherry tree that grew so close to the window, when the window was open it came into the kitchen!
