This is another recipe from MY Fitness Pal stash. I think I called these healthy because they have no added fat – the applesauce and eggs are used instead – but still. I guess it’s the linseeds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds that give illusion of ‘healthy’. 1/2 cup of sugar for 16 muffins making for 1/2 tsp per muffin is actually pretty low in sugar and perhaps that’s why I called them healthy. Also using cacao nibs rather than chocolate chips cuts down on sugar and unhealthy fats.

- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 3/4 cup Unsweetened Applesauce
- 3/4 cup Sunflower Seeds
- 1/2 white sugar
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup Pumpkin Seeds
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup Golden Linseed
- 3 medium bananas
- 1/2 cup Real Raw Cacao Nibs

This sounds very good, thank you for sharing.
Sure, I’ll try them even if they are kind of healthy. Now who’s going to make them for me.
