I’m trying to decide to what to write about. A focus for my blog in 2012. Not doing very well. On the deciding part. No I haven’t abandoned food, rather the sleeping sound artist has just woken after years of being on hold/out of the loop/pushed aside/deprived – yes deprived – locked in chains and chastity belt, the key thrown away. How cruel can life be?
Technology finally caught up with inspiration, a virtual key cut, and sound released.
The sound muse is a demanding dominatrix. She wants all my time at the expense of all else. Though unlike Sherlock‘s dom in Belgravia, or the one pictured here, mine doesn’t wear leather or paint her fingernails red, though she does sometimes parade naked words, and she loves detective stories….
How I love working with sound, words, music, song…that muse doesn’t have to whip me. She doesn’t have to do much of anything at all. I am her willing slave.
